Cocoa Beach is Brevard’s only world-renowned beachside community established in 1925. It is home to the east coast surfing hall of fame and the king of professional surfing Kelley Slater. The town has been drawing all types of beachgoers since the mid 1960’s when NASA was booming and the television show “I dream of Jeannie” was produced here from 1965-1970.
