After more than 35 years as a full-time real estate broker, I've seen Florida's market weather many cycles. In August, median prices remained resilient—single-family homes reached $415,000, while condos and townhouses hovered near $298,000. Sales dipped slightly, about 1.5% for single-family and almost 2% for condos, marking the close of an 11-month run of growth. With mortgage rates sitting in the 6-7% range, these numbers highlight the steady demand and enduring value that define our state's housing market.
